About Me:
Cherelle Brown is a Columbus, OH based dance artist renown for her expressive performances, infectious energy, and passionate movement. She started dance as a high school student and quickly found that movement spoke to her in a way that nothing else could. This discovery had led to a lifetime of study, training, and growth that has resulted in performances locally, nationally, and internationally. She has performed with Gamal Brown's Oxyx Productions, Baba Stafford Berry, All-Star Jammerz and as a tenured company member and choreographer for Thiossane West African Dance Institute and Goree Drum and Dance. Utilizing the experience she has gained and the harnessing the joy movement brings, she has developed a weekly class offering, Rhythm and Release, receiving rave reviews and has taught workshops with OhioDance and Indiana University. Now tapped for choreography in the world of musical theater as well, Cherelle, continues searching for new ways to share the love and joy that dance has brought to her with others.
